Well I know, I'm pretty late but there were a lot of small events in recent times. He also had to take time to get photos because of computer problems have surfaced ...
Wednesday, June 7, back from work I found Lena and it was decided to organize from a small weekend to Galway (pronounced "goleway) and lakes of Connemara ... Of bookings in all sense and a few hours later we are in possession of our bus tickets for the bus station, booking the hotel and our site visits.
The next day wake up at 6.30am to go to downtown and the catcher Bus company Citylink. Here the buses are a real institution, everyone take them for the slightest movement, it must be said that the country is small enough (3 times the Correze ^ ^) and the prices are very attractive (only 15 euros round trip to get to the point of the Celtic territory closest to America!).
3H later, we arrived in the country's third largest city (800.000 inhabitants ). The decor is fairly atypical one feels that one is in the countryside, with some cultural richness . The buildings are not like in dublin, here the colors are present and bring a certain richness to the landscape. After an express visit, we went to the hotel, to deposit our belongings. On site two surprises waiting for us, Firstly, the facade of the building, which was not much to mine ... Then the room that the contrary was really nice and offered a view of the bay and golf :)...
We finished the night on the town near the Latin Quarter, where the pubs were offering lots of entertainment.
The next day we went in the Lakes region of Connemara, a proposed visit by an Irish local showed us this beautiful country for more than 8 hours in his mini van: ). The scenery all over richer than each other gave us a new vision of nature as shown in the photos attached.
This trip was truly rich in discoveries and emotions, Ireland Celtic land, country club is obviously a land rich in natural landscapes, but this road trip in the lakes of Connemarra allowed us to reconnect us a little more with nature, reminding us why it is good to GSE; -)!
