Welcome to Belfast City!

Ireland has the peculiarity of being divided in two, Eire best known under the name of Southern Ireland and Northern Ireland. Two Capitals for one island then Belfast and Dublin! Both religions also attached to the Protestants and Catholics United Kingdom the Eire ...

Many conflicts have occurred in recent decades, before a ceasefire signed in the early 2000s. For more reading I invite you to click on the link below which will remind you the Irish troubles .

Here we are, therefore risen in the morning for departure to O'Connell Street, meeting Julie, Lena, Arthur, Pierrot's friend and myself. Then we went to Dublin Airport to take the bus Aircoach chain "luxury" that should lead us to the capital of North ...

few hours later, we finally reached the United Kingdom, to begin the visit of this magnificent city. Indeed a rich and varied architecture we waited. So we made the most of different places, churches, shipyard (and yes, the Titanic is Irish) ....

the afternoon we made visits to botanical gardens and museum of Ulster (the province of Northern Ireland) thus discovering the dinosaurs and many other species that lived in the area .. .

I let you admire the photos (the other being on facebook) that you will have a more personal glimpse of this capital.

How Make Honeymooners Tea

Malahide

Here again the weekend on Wednesday, we decided to rest before the weekend trip looming ....

First Thursday Julie (Arthur's girlfriend) came as a surprise. Arthur was able to understand why we (Lena and me) tried to get rid of him all morning ... Short visit in the afternoon and a final shopping to the preparations for the real to begin on next weekend!

Friday we organized in preparation for our trips to Belfast! Saturday and yes we will come thus in the capital of Northern Ireland, land of the famous bloody sunday bloody (Derry) ...

Otherwise this after noon we went to Malahide, a small fishing village located 25 kilometers from Dublin, where we admired the fishing port, the Castle and its famous park .. A really quiet after noon that allowed us us relax and enjoy a little more of Irish culture before the trip tomorrow!

Comparison Between Perennialism And Essentialism

French Week-end

Wednesday marked the beginning of the weekend but also the arrival of Jud. Indeed, my dear Compere rugby came to visit us enlarging the size of the French weekly ( 5, and reserve rum ^ ^ )

"exhausted" (it must find a pretext) by visits of the day we decided to organize a barbecue and an evening mojito ... which ended with a walk in town specifically the side of Temple Bar, history again to continue the visits! After these first aperitifs everyone returned to bed, in effect the day after a hard day waiting for us ...

8:30 the alarm rings, just enough time to shower, an aspirin and brunch, we were already toward the Guinness Store House, a very pleasant visit which enabled us to launch hostilities 14h! Afternoon allowed to continue the visits before returning to the house for a drink with a Polish friend a few days before meeting ... headache but guaranteed a great night anyway!

The next day we went around Dublin to finish visits, in fact Terry off again late in the day to France. So we have our visits punctuated by a small tower on the side of Howth, Dublin peninsula, where the landscape and the small fishing port is just beautiful ... After filing terry bus we came across Ester and Yvan our flatmates who decided to spend a night on the box ... Jumping at the chance, we toured the bars before changing the program and get to the Mezz, an underground bar, where rock is king. We have enjoyed a good atmosphere of good concerts, a great night with friends and a few surprises in the corridors of the pub ...

Another rude awakening ....

A nice end of weekend !

The next day we were given a lie to prepare ourselves mentally for the evening to come ... tonight would be the cafe in the Seine, a café / pub / restaurant by day and a chic nightclub and wonderful sunset .. We're not wrong, indeed the deco ambience and music were simply divine .. A great night =)

The next day, the clock was really "difficult" (after the qualifiers Arthur ), ringing in the ears just as intense, our sole business of the day was a buffet at pizza hut , perfect to get back on their feet and feel a certain "fullness"!

The next direction the job for us and the airport for Jud who was going to resume his course!

A big big weekend coming so close to many memories with!
