Does Anyone Know Where To Buy Oil Of Olay Soaps

Trip to Killarney: part I

After some problems, computer after hours to finish a test of literature, having been to my first salsa classes at the university, and after a very busy weekend, I'm ready to tell you my little weekend in Killarney.

First, a little geography: Killarney (Irish Cill Airne) is a town of 12,000 inhabitants that is located in County Kerry. The city has some beautiful monuments (Muckross House). Its main characteristic is to be a tourist town because it is near the largest National Park, Ireland, Killarney National Park which covers an area of 103 sq. km. This site has also been appointed in 1981 by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve (which is the international designation of conservation reserves). That is what will therefore be the place of intrigue ...

So
scheduled departure at eleven o'clock Friday morning near the university, latecomers are not many but some are still waiting at the bus departure. Once everyone onboard, we're off for a trip of two hours on the roads of West Cork. The weather is looking good, the sun fills us with light. On the road we went into raptures at the verdant surroundings and radiating, populated by meadows and mountains gleaming. Lunch in a small village and hop we go again, towards the Lidl of Killarney. The organizers set the groups of 6, in order to place students in rentals and also to facilitate the task of shopping ... Me now placed in group 3 with two French, two French and one Italian. The program of races, pasta, chips and drink ... The rating is salty but it was the quantity. After this longish passage in the supermarket, head for the rental and, much to the surprise of many, one is led into a small lottisement maisonettes, rated four stars (large class), just for us! To the delight of all, everyone leaves to settle in its lease with Discovery and Site Visit ...

It arises from a moment before the discovery of Killarney. The sun is present outskirts of the city, we connected by road with magnificent contrasts of light and color on gilded trees. It establishes a base camp in the souvenir shops, and Luck Maroine indulging in the pleasures Guinessiens tourist ... On the way home, stop forced in the beautiful St Mary's cathedral, a few photos and then goes away ...

We're back to our homes, break aperitif before episodes of Friends, each savoring the moment, then move to table with a cast of pasta, lovingly and deliciously prepared by Maroine and Alberta. After the belly well stocked, it migrates to the house to aside for the "surprise party" of the Irish, who happens to be an explosive cocktail, mix of spirits, with the first components vodka and whiskey. The evening ends at the stroke of four hours sleep hits us like a blow. The revival will be difficult ...

Morning After, starting at the stroke of ten o'clock for the bike ride in Killarney National Park. Each has its head in the handlebars, there are a few stragglers in the ranks. After the handling of our bikes, we're off, single file, some are already starting to accelerate front, while others hang out behind the pitch.

The group is divided somewhat, it is confined just to follow the organizers. First stage of the day, we stop at Muckross Abbey, under renovation. The cloister is quite remarkable, everyone starts to feel like a priest. In the middle of the cloister stands an old yew pleusieurs hundreds of years. Beside the Abbey stands a cemetery filled with great Gaelic poets of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The external environment is simply beautiful, the colors shine, it is almost like spring.

After a few photos where everyone stops quickdraw with a vengeance his camera around Lough Lein (Gaelic "Lake of knowledge"). The setting is nice and we like to look around. Along the way, here we come to the Muckross House and its surrounding gardens. This house is one of the main attractions of the park, the building was built in 1843 in Victorian style. This ruling is our lunch stop. With some French, we partont exploring the area and our guide suivont Navy to a place completely isolated, facing the lake and mountains, a few boats sailing on the side the pier.

After this little break very quiet, we go to meet the Torc Waterfall (Waterfall Torc) and its 18 meters high, somewhat impressive. Everyone has their own goal to put before the waterfall, but before such a framework, we can not refuse.

Organizers then decided to make us walk the road and go towards the Ross Castle, a 16th century great tower, which stands opposite the Lough Lean. The view over the lake and mountains damn worth the detour. Besides, she will serve as a framework for the group photo from a dear Irish have been kind enough to take.

off on the stroke of five o'clock, towards the city center to take a little hot chocolate, well deserved after this day. In the evening, we take the same and again, cocktail-party-pasta-sleeping, the alarm will not happen anytime soon ...
